My name is Becky Nance.  You taught my son last year. I am a graduate fellow at the Center for Mathematics and Science Education at the University of Mississippi.  I am currently working with a technology committee through the School of Education at Ole Miss.  We are planning a Technology in Education conference for the faculty, staff, and students of the School of Education as well as for the teachers of the surrounding school districts.  We are looking for several teachers who actively use technology in their classrooms who might be willing to present a session at this conference.  You immediately came to my mind.  I explained to our planning committee how you used the Chromebooks and maintained a mostly paperless classroom.  We feel that your experience could help many teachers. We are hoping to have multiple break-out sessions, approximately an hours and fifteen minutes each, with various emphases and presenters from different backgrounds. Please consider sharing your classroom practices with our attendees. The topic of your presentation is left to your discretion. Our tentative date is Friday, February 6, 2015.  The conference will be here in Oxford. It will be an all day event and CEU’s will be offered for teachers.
Please let me know if you are willing to volunteer to be a presenter for this upcoming conference.  I so, I will be in touch with you for further details.
Thank you for making OMITTED year a great one last year.  Keep up the good work!
